Anna September 6, 2010 Anna This is a great DVD for losing weight and improving fitness levels. It's challenging but still fun, I really like the instructor and definitely recommend this DVD.
Not for the beginner. August 16, 2010 Holistic Girl This DVD gives you an excellent total body workout but I wouldn't recommend it for the beginner. I have done a lot of workout DVDs over the years and although no expert I have learned the correct posture for most excercises. This DVD lacks in explaining the correct posture and when it is mentioned it is often halfway through a set of reps. Injury can occur if the correct posture is not used. The excercises themselves are great and you can really feel that you have done a workout the next day but I still prefer Davina.
This DVD makes you WORK! August 16, 2010 cheekyblonde I love this DVD. Although I'm not overweight, I bought this DVD to get a bit more activity into my everyday life and to tone up a bit (and also, was impressed with the good reviews).
Whoah. I was not expecting this. After 1 of the workouts, I was streaming with sweat (not a nice image, admittedly...) which was totally unexpected. The moves aren't hard but do push you (you have got the option of following the 'easier' instructor or the more challenging one). The workouts aren't too long either, about 20 minutes or so, which is just enough not to get boring.
Additionally, Hannah is fab in the DVD. Not only is she proof that through exercise and healthy eating you can lose loads of weight, but she's 'human' in the DVD unlike other celebs- she doesn't obsessively moan throughout the whole workout, but she admits that she "isn't a fan of this one..." on some of the moves. She's fun and cheeky, which is so refreshing, and it's also reasurring to see Hannah streaming with sweat too! Plus, the instructor on the left is so fit!
Fantastic DVD and I'm seeing (and feeling..ow!) results. Fab stuff!
Good for weight loss August 11, 2010 slgane I have been doing the Hannah Waterman workout for a few months now. It is not an easy workout DVD and I would say is a step up from Davina but it does work. I am a size 8-10 so find it hard to get any noticeable weightloss. However after doing this about 4/5 times a week there was a noticeable difference.
Good points:
Gets results
20 min routines allow for shorter workouts
Good abs section in the end, using weights
Bad points:
Since doing this DVD I cannot stand Hannah Waterman and not because she is making me work out. I can agree with an earlier review in that she complains throughout (unlike Davina who says things like 'I love this one') and makes jokes constantly at the expense of her trainers. She doesn't come across as a very nice person.
But for a good workout I would thoroughly recommend this DVD as you can really work hard in the intense interval sections.
Weight loss magic in a box! August 10, 2010 Ms. C. J. Franckeiss (Surrey, UK) I have been working out to the DVD for 6 months in preparation for my wedding that took place in July. 1-3 times a week, sometimes just 20-40 mins and when I'm full of energy from start to finish, though rare. My body has completely changed shape! From a frumpy size 12-14 to a slender size 8-10. My body is toned, strong and slim! I recommend this DVD to everyone, stick with it and you will be rewarded! In addition to working out to this DVD I also drank protein drinks after the work out and lifted a few free weights once I felt I needed to step up the routine, this may help to get the results you desire!
